In addition, Washington University has been highly ranked among the top U.S. and international industry publications – including U.S. News and World Report, Kiplingers Finance, The Atlantic Monthly, Newsweek, The Times (UK), Institute of International Education. In fact, on the Academic Ranking of World Universities, which records the top 500 colleges and universities in the world, Washington University in St. Louis ranks 31st. The Academic Ranking of World Universities has been compiled by the Center for World-Class Universities at Shanghai Jiao Tong University since 2003.
