Earn a Certificate as a Part of the Master of Legal Studies Program

As a student in the Master of Legal Studies (MLS) online program, you can earn one of our five certificates that allow you to specialize in particular areas of law: business law, conflict resolution, litigation, regulatory compliance, or employment law. Building on the foundational knowledge you gain from an MLS, these certificates will help increase your credibility and make you more marketable in your field.

Students interested in earning a certificate must first enroll in the MLS program then complete at least 9 credits from predefined courses. These credits count toward the 24 total credits required for the MLS program. Upon completion of the program, you will receive a printed certificate to showcase your expertise.
